Teresita Heiser is development director, joining the staff in 2019. She manages major gifts, the annual fund, and stewardship, and supports the board of directors. Having started her career with the Peace Corps in Kenya, Teresita’s experience includes work with the World Bank, Frank Russell Company and ONE the campaign to end extreme poverty. She has worked in sustainability, global health and economic development throughout Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America. Teresita has experience designing and participating in dialogue with global investors and policy makers and has implemented corporate citizenship programs in the health and investment sectors. A graduate of the University of Michigan and Johns Hopkins School for Advanced International Studies (SAIS), she is currently pursuing a PhD with a focus on integral ecology. Teresita is a big fan of a wide range of music and has volunteered as a radio program host. She enjoys dancing and being in the outdoors.
