Zachary Ugolnik is a program director, joining the staff in 2020. He helps manage the many programs and projects at CASBS, including Creating a New Moral Political Economy. Zachary earned his PhD from the department of religion at Columbia University in 2018 and his master’s from Harvard University in 2009. He has taught courses in ethics, religion, and philosophy at Phillips Exeter Academy, Mount Allison University, and Columbia University, where he served as a Mellon Interdisciplinary Fellow at the Interdisciplinary Center for Innovative Theory and Empirics (INCITE). He enjoys hiking and biking.
