Jason Gonzales is the information manager, joining the staff in 2015. In this role, he provides library services to the fellows and staff which includes retrieving materials from the Stanford library system, as well as fulfilling research requests on specified topics. He also maintains the Ruth H. and John G. Neukom Reading Room at CASBS, including the Ralph W. Tyler collection, the accumulated works of CASBS fellows. He earned an MLIS at San Jose State University and previously worked as a copywriter and editor in pharmaceutical marketing, a position he accidentally entered as the result of his research background. When he is not doing research and collection management, he spends much of his time playing drums and recording music.
