Your Greenhouse for Advancing Research, Knowledge, and Solutions

The Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences (CASBS) is renowned for bringing together exceptional minds—not just individuals through its storied fellowship program, but also groups and teams working on collaborative social and behavioral science research projects. Through workshops, conferences, and institutes, CASBS hosts cross-disciplinary and often cross-sectoral gatherings that attract world-class academics, industry leaders, policy makers, and analysts.

CASBS accelerates ideas into action. We seek proposals from CASBS fellows, scholars worldwide, researchers, industry leaders, and changemakers for single- or multiple-day interdisciplinary gatherings that demonstrate how social and behavioral science research drives progress on consequential issues, questions, and challenges. We value developing conversations that advance basic social science, produce links between the fields that study human behavior and society, and find ways to overcome the challenges humanity faces.

CASBS has long offered a template for bringing people together to learn from and inspire each other. Bring your group to our hilltop setting overlooking Stanford University and the San Francisco Bay—a space removed from everyday distractions that fosters creativity, catalyzes conversation, and generates solutions. Deepen the conversation by including current and former CASBS fellows. Together, we can help generate collective knowledge and transformative outcomes.
