CASBS Convenes!
The Center is renowned for its convening power. With the addition of new collaborative spaces in 2023, it further leverages this power to accommodate more social and behavioral science-related workshops and conferences.

Summer Institutes on Organizations, and on AI and Social Sciences
For a decade, the Center hosted intensive two-week institutes to integrate disciplinary knowledge as well as revitalize and push the frontiers of the study of organizations. It assembled cohorts of (and facilitated cross-cohort interactions among) young researchers from a wide range of fields including communication, economics, education, management, political science, social psychology, and sociology.

Sage-CASBS Award
Since 2013, CASBS and Sage Publishing have partnered to present the Sage-CASBS Award, recognizing outstanding achievement in the social and behavioral sciences that advances our understanding of pressing social issues. The award recipient delivers a public award talk at CASBS.

EnCOREage
A project partnering the Center with Core Econ and Honor Ed to accelerate movement toward new approaches in the learning and teaching of economics. It aims to reduce impediments to achievement and enable better outcomes in economics education, enhanced by the introduction of a new learning platform.
